Basic troubleshooting
These steps solve many temporary app, advertising, and privacy-form issues without affecting your records.

Update MenuCost
Install the latest available version from Google Play so current fixes and language resources are included.

Restart the app
Close MenuCost completely and reopen it. If the issue continues, restart your Android device once.

Check the connection when needed
Core calculations work offline, but ads and the privacy choices form require a working internet connection.
Your records
Calculation and business records stay local
MenuCost stores ingredient, recipe, cost, selling-price, and preference records locally on your device. The app has no MenuCost account or custom cloud backend.
Important: Clearing MenuCost storage or uninstalling the app normally removes its local records. Review your data before using Android's clear-storage controls.
